Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Highbridge Basin Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Richmond working with agencies and riders, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
