Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Silverline Ember Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Hartford. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about lease compliance. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
