Amberfield Kestrel Press is looking for a Content Writer. The job centres on website copy for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
