Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Summit Linden Civic Services supports public agencies in Pittsburgh with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about case files. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
