Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Westbrook Birch Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Knoxville region, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about hardship programmes. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
