Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Rivermark Sable Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Chicago and nearby communities, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 226 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
