Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Bright Harbor Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Cleveland working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
