Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Stonegate Junction Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Detroit and nearby communities. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
