Content Writer - website copy (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Portland, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Portland. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
