Content Writer - website copy (Portland, OR)

Bright Wren Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
