Content Writer - website copy (Pittsburgh, PA)

Clearpath Ivory Civic Services works with county and city offices around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
