Content Writer - website copy (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Summit Ember Housing and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 854 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
