Content Writer - website copy (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Fern Legal Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client files. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
