Bluepeak Cross Legal Group provides legal services in Oakland across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
