We are growing our team at Summit Ember Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
