Content Writer - website copy (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about paper stock. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
