Bluepeak Ashton Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Knoxville. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
