Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
