Bluepeak Quill Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Jackson, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
