Greenridge Ashton Civic Services works with county and city offices around Jackson. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
