Stonegate Ashton Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Grand Rapids with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
