Content Writer - website copy (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Vale Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
