Content Writer - website copy (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Drift Legal Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about trust accounts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
