Content Writer - website copy (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Beacon Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 521 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about bindery work. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
