Content Writer - website copy (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Birch Arts Center Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 935 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school partnerships. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
