We are growing our team at Redstone Mill Civic Services Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
