Content Writer - website copy (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Ivory Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Baltimore region. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
