Silverline Fern Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Baltimore. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
