Cedar Cross Civic Services works with county and city offices around Baltimore, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
