Content Writer - website copy (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood Fern Civic Services supports public agencies in Anchorage with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
