Content Writer - plain-language guides (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Pike Water Authority and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 460 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
