Content Writer - plain-language guides (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Nova Ember Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
