Content Writer - plain-language guides (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Mill Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 868 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
