Content Writer - plain-language guides (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Granite Housing and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
