Content Writer - plain-language guides (St. Louis, MO)

Lumen River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its St. Louis plant, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
