Content Writer - plain-language guides (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wilder Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
