Content Writer - plain-language guides (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Kestrel Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about food distribution. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
