Content Writer - plain-language guides (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Silverline Orchard Transit Planning and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
