Content Writer - plain-language guides (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sparrow Arts Center and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
