Content Writer - plain-language guides (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wilder Learning Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about attendance records. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
