Content Writer - plain-language guides (San Diego, CA)

Silverline River Housing Group provides affordable homes and support services around San Diego. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
