Content Writer - plain-language guides (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
