Content Writer - plain-language guides (Reno, NV)

Cedar Forge Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Reno presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
