Content Writer - plain-language guides (Reno, NV)

Ironwood Beacon Community Partners is a nonprofit in Reno supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about donor records. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
