Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Rivermark Glen Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around New Orleans, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
