Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Nova Timber Housing manages affordable housing communities across Grand Rapids, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 157 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about resident services. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
