Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Rivermark Fern Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around San Diego. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about field visits. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
