Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Keystone Transit Planning and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
