Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Clearpath Cross Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Toledo, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
