Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Rivermark Meadow Community Partners is a Salt Lake City charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
